Thanks for checking out my Blog.....a place that I've found to be most effective to showcase my work and my photography style. I am a Wedding, Children and Editorial Photographer out of Charleston, South Carolina.

I am working on getting a bio picture - yes - as odd as it may seem.....I don't really have a picture of me by myself worth posting. Wait, there are those 10 pictures my husband takes once a year at 5:54 a.m. on Christmas morning. Those are...awesome. I do have this one with my children - and due to the dimensions of this blog and where the picture needs to go...I cropped my husband out....kind of have the guilts about that. But....do you chop off a kid or a husband? I don't know, I mean then you get the "you like her better than me...."

To answer most everyone's questions about "What should the children wear?" and "What's the best location?" Look through my pictures.....you will quickly see that I'm not a khaki and white, "look-at-me!" photographer. I strive to make the pictures about everyone's personality.....and not their perfect outfit or beautiful yard. I've said it before.....Jeans and t-shirt over a crunchy, lace dress any time. Let's go climb some trees, people! And brides...take a deeeeep breath and relax. The portrait is pain-free.....and your wedding day should be one of your very best.

So put on what makes you comfortable and what suits everyone's personalities best and let's head out to a park or playground and just be. And, just so you know, the children can pretty much do nothing wrong. The rowdier the better and even the crying pictures turn out to be fun years later. Oh and Mom, yours is not the first photo session where someone has cried - I promise.

It’s a Givens time of Year…..

It’s been a little while since I’ve hung out with these little Crazy Daisies. They are full of laughter, energy and just plain FUN. For these sisters…2 years apart…they really do seem to like being with each other …. “A” enjoys trying to give “W” and hug and a squeeze more often than she would like….but it eventually brings out laughter and they get to rolling around trying to recover. Love it.

Mama, we’ll get to working on a fancy picture later……for now….all holiday fun and games.
