Never in all my years of shooting or attending weddings…have I seen a better getaway car.  3M is thanking the creative children of this bunch because the shelves were wiped clean at all surrounding office supply stores.  No matter what Michelle and Marty do from here on, there is absolutely no excuse that they didn’t write themselves a reminder or better yet, a love note!

Life is kooky and crazy sometimes and the path to peace isn’t always straight.  Lord knows the struggles along the way are tough…but the blessings on the other side are nothing short of FABULOUS.  Congratulations and cheers to your glowing happiness!  (Oh, it was good to see you Elaine…you coyote.)

Another one of my very favorite families of all time.  It is truly a treat to visit and I love spending the afternoon catching up with each one of you.  Thanks for another fun time…aaand for introducing me to Logan.  Ahhh…Logan.

I cannot say it enough…this fabulous wedding was about family FIRST!  A celebration of three coming together surrounded by loved ones and nothing but JOY.  What a night it was and such a treat to be included!!

I ADORE this family.  Mama and Daddy are old friends and the girls are simply the best.  I wore out my welcome visiting with them after the shoot but I just couldn’t leave.  Such a fun afternoon swinging, skipping, laughing…UNTIL…ew.  Mr. Raccoon gave us a peek-a-boo visit and it took us ALL a little bit to recover.  Loved my afternoon with all of you and will be in touch soon with the rest of the gallery!!

A great foggy morning with this big ole family.  I sure do admire their effort to get the extended together and enjoy each other.  Here is a little sneak peek of our fun morning!!

Not a care in the world – this afternoon was just two days before these three became a family unit.  Mama was calm…the weather was perfect and we had ourselves some fun climbing trees in a DRESS!  Here is a sneak peek and I’ll let you know when the rest go up.   Wedding edits up next!! 

We exchanged a total of 20 quick little back-n-forth emails…and my favorite line from the whole strand…

“We are a little…much….”  PERFECT.  So much fun as all were in good moods and having a blast with each other.  If that is “much”…I’ll take it!

The day after Christmas…and YES, I’LL WORK…YEP, I SURE WILL!  Sometimes enough is enough and these sweet people were willing to have a playdate with me on the 26th.  This holiday no-man’s-land is a bit much for me after a few days as I prefer and need a schedule!  Happy New Year!!

A great family Christmas gathering…in perfect Charleston weather!

I love including pets in a shoot for a couple of reasons.  While it may seem stressful to the owners…I think it actually relaxes everyone as the focus is not all on them.  What a great afternoon with this sweet family and their fabulously large creatures.
