Grace.

What a crazy week it was right before Thanksgiving…so much loss at such a tender time of year.  Mama has a new theme…GRACE.  I hope Thanksgiving was fabulous having all your boys home.

Pretty in pink…noses.

Year after year…this day has become a family tradition.  Mama and Daddy take the morning…have a photo shoot…then something fun to follow.  Sometimes it’s a movie…and sometimes it’s something as simple as breakfast.  You are creating great Christmas-time memories and the girls are ready, willing and happy… every year.  Tis the SEASON!

PeekaBOO!

Love seeing these girls year to year.  Including the puppies is always fun…and I’ve now got one of my very favorite pictures of all time.

Best. Photobomb. Ever.

Double the fun!

We’ve been trying to pull this together for a little while…and I’m so glad things worked out.  Especially on a day that we were almost reality tv stars…almost.

Cheeto’s, Ice Cream and good ole’ Coca Cola…

I think that every time I post about these peeps…I start it with LOVE, Love, love…because you can’t help but adore them.  I’ve been shooting them since before Mr. Cutie entered the picture and Mama is the BEST.  We finished our afternoon with an old-school drugstore counter snack!  Who doesn’t need some Cheeto’s and Coca-Cola after some chocolate ice cream?

Pretty ginger…

Sweet little family…growing up way too fast.  Enjoyed our ‘voting’ morning out and I hope you have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Come here, doggie!

I know that including a family pet – (or maybe even an extended family member) – can sometimes be stressful.  I always recommend it as the extra work is worth it for a couple of reasons.  First, my motto is ‘the crazier the better’ during a shoot.  For real.  Why?…because it takes the focus off the shoot and brings out real personalities.  Second, who doesn’t want to have printed and framed the very one who pooped on the oriental rug?  Enjoyed our morning…Happy Thanksgiving!

Presidential beauty…

This sweet bride is one of my very favorite people on the planet.  She has taught two of my children middle school history with such a passion, joy and understanding.  How fitting that her bridal suite was adorned with several portraits of American presidents.

What a blessing it is has been for these two to meet and marry.   Cheers to dropping the ‘loe’…

Lynn Joye - These are the most beautiful wedding photos! I have a daughter who is only 11 right now, but I sure hope you are still doing wedding photography when it’s her turn! And where was the ceremony and reception? And that GOWN! I’d love to know more about it.

Sincerely,
Lynn Joye

Mother of Groom - Indeed, Travis Dew is quite gifted in photography! We are thrilled with this sneak preview of the wedding and reception. The ceremony was at St. Michael’s Church and the reception was at the Carolina Yacht Club. Merry Christmas!

Pretty in pink…and red…

Always a treat to get to see these cute peeps.  Good moods and great attitudes with every shoot and always willing to play.  Those two older ones…can’t keep their hands off Miss “F”…can you blame them?!

It’s all in the hair…

So great to see these guys again and I can’t get over how much the girls have grown.  I would just like to express how much hair-envy I have over all three…(sorry Daddy, I pretty much already pull your hair style.)  Here is a little sneak peek…I will let you know when the rest go up.
