The family gathered for a beautiful and festive celebration and a great time was had by all…teenagers included ~smirk~.

Two Devon Rex kitty cats…one five-year old…one five-day old…two parents…equals one GREAT morning.  Such a laid-back household full of love, laughter, tolerant pets and just…life.  Elise, I had so much fun with you, George, Walker, Townsend, Charlie and sweet Miss Alexandra…it was hard to leave!  Thanks for having me over!!

What a pleasure it was to spend a morning on the beach with this crew.  Mama and Daddy…you must be so proud because these are four very engaging, kind, well-mannered children all with great attitudes and dispositions.

As a mother of three very sleepy teenagers…I was most impressed by the fresh-faced youths at 8:00am.  I don’t even know how to feel about you all being up, ready and on time.  Thanks for having me out!! xo

So glad to meet up with this cute family and capture some good ole cousin fun.  Nothing like summer vacation time with lots of family!

This past weekend I took my children home to Athens for my daughter to visit UGA.  We took a quick spin by Oconee Hill Cemetery…drove by Plum Nelly Road, Milledge Circle…and walked right in and plopped down at Anne Horton’s kitchen table on Fortson Circle.  Familiar faces and smells like time had never passed.  What a treat to share my third mama with my daughter.  This yummy little one…is Elizabeth’s grandson.  So much love for all of you.

This is my great nephew.  There really are no words for his scrumptiousness.

Murphy tried like none other to cause all sorts of ruckus on this beautiful weekend.  No worries…this crew wasn’t going to have it.  With a couple of trips to urgent care, the hospital, a broken chair and some lightening…all moods and emotions were tried a few times over.  Once the wedding ball got rolling with hair, make-up and tuxedos on, there was no stopping the smiles, LOVE and laughter throughout!   Cheers to a FABULOUS weekend and many blessings for a long, happy life together.

I envy and applaud those that can actually pull together a true family vacation.  Extended family can be the ingredient for many great memories and my family has struggled pulling this off.  Now it is even more difficult as my children are old enough to have their own demanding schedules.
